Ben Hewitt

Ben Hewitt works behind the scenes to build and maintain BuildingGreen.com and LEEDuser. He brings with him over two decades of experience in his field. As an efficient problem-solver, his goal is to make the websites more user-friendly for his coworkers and designers and project teams using BuildingGreen’s resources.

Ben has proficiency in databases, server maintenance, and website programming—with a specialty in Drupal—which makes him a perfect fit for BuildingGreen. He has been instrumental in transitioning BuildingGreen.com and LEEDuser onto state-of-the-art platforms that provide an optimal and secure experience for our users.  

Ben lives just over the Vermont border in New York with his wife and son. When he’s not working, he loves to spend time with his family (including their chickens and cats), garden, read, and play saxophone and guitar.
