The Greenbuild Expo floor can be a bit ... chaotic. We try to sort the wheat from the chaff in this year's product-palooza.

The 2014 Greenbuild expo in New Orleans had everything. Certified lumber? Check. Recycled you-name-it? Check. But in addition to what you’d expect, there were innovative, complex HVAC controls, and even some manufacturers riding the transparency wave, mostly bringing new data on their products.

Not every new product makes it on the market, but each innovation demonstrates next-generation thinking and trends that will—hopefully—enhance the options of the green building community.
