U.S. Green Building Council Forges Ahead
Founded just last year, the U.S. Green Building Council is undergoing changes and pursuing an aggressive agenda of activities.
Co-founder of the Council David Gottfried is no longer on the staff, and the San Francisco office has closed. Gottfried is now vice chairman, and co-founder Michael Italiano in the Washington office remains as executive vice president and general counsel. Nevertheless, the Council is providing a forum in which member organizations are pursuing a broad range of goals.
