World Green Building Council Unleashed

Though it’s still in an informal network stage, the WGBC will eventually coordinate and assist national green building organizations as they mature. Upon ratification, David Gottfried, founder of the USGBC and founder and chair of the fledgling WGBC remarked, “Today the world changed. The proven Green Building Council model is now global.” The WGBC, online at www.worldgbc.org, is now accepting applications for membership from additional countries.
