AIA Fellows Announced

AIA also recently announced members of this year’s College of Fellows. One of the highest honors AIA bestows upon its members, fellowship is reserved for “architects who have made significant contributions to architecture and to society.” Selected by a jury of their peers, several new Fellows are champions of sustainable design:

Charles Angyal,

chief architect of San Diego (California) Gas and Electric’s new construction energy programs;

William Leddy, partner at Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects of San Francisco, California;

Daniel Nall, PE, senior vice president and director of advanced technologies at Flack + Kurtz Consulting Engineers in New York City;

Douglas Noble, associate professor, University of Southern California School of Architecture in Los Angeles;

John Reynolds, professor emeritus, University of Oregon in Portland; and

Randall Stout, president of Randall Stout Architects of Los Angeles, California.
