  • Need no added stain or dirt repellents
  • Are certified to CRI Green Label Plus for VOC emissions
  • Come from manufacturers with take-back programs
  • May be made from natural wool

But watch out for...

  • Products coated with PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances)
  • Carpet with polyurethane backing
  • Products with antimicrobials above 100 ppm
  • Backings that contain fly ash
