Major Canadian Timber Company Loses FSC Certification

If not resolved in the next few months, the suspensions could become terminations, which might affect U.S. supply of FSC-certified paper and softwood dimensional lumber, according to Corey Brinkema, president of FSC in the U.S.
All three forests have retained their certification without interruption under the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) standard. Four other Resolute-managed sites are still FSC-certified.
